dreams of råbygda

were i a rose
spring would unfold me
petals gently opening
in natural welcome to the bee
invited by a scent
irresistible

i am no rose

nothing more than mist

but oh a rose
would better suit me

to entice, to receive
to have you drawn as a bee
to the rose, to unfold
to find the nectar, to make
me be what i cannot be
only you can do that

i am not a rose
i am the bee, i will come
within your petals
and wish it could be otherwise

"Show me a rose and I'll show you a storm at sea" as Groucho sang. There is always a bee and always a flower. And mother nature chooses which is which. I enjoyed reading this.
