Demon of Darkness

Bleeding from the heart
tuck your tail
between your legs
Disgracefully
begging a pardon
Down upon your knees
You fallen demon of darkness
Drink bitterness
Eat crumbs of humility
Boomerang memories
come in the flash of the moment
justifying themselves
as birds of prey
