A poem about the calm after the storm.
through traffic jams of despair
no roadblocks hinder their surge
sparkling moments of sunshine
peek out with laughter
standing room only
in the light of being
caught in the mirror
of nakedness and emotion
a bubble in the brain
burst as it comes in contact
with itself
as it finds itself only an impostor
of reality
no burn as deep could be erased
as likely being identified as a
shallow stream of dirty deeds
added to a string of dark days
and rainy nights
when nothing else matters.

Nothing Else Matters
Fleshly salvages rampagingthrough traffic jams of despair
no roadblocks hinder their surge
sparkling moments of sunshine
peek out with laughter
standing room only
in the light of being
caught in the mirror
of nakedness and emotion
a bubble in the brain
burst as it comes in contact
with itself
as it finds itself only an impostor
of reality
no burn as deep could be erased
as likely being identified as a
shallow stream of dirty deeds
added to a string of dark days
and rainy nights
when nothing else matters.
