Thanks To everyone for the comments! Sorry I haven't been on in a long time I forgot about it, then it wouldn't let me long in =P. I'm still trying to learn how to write good poems so this is only the second. I've written plenty but this is the only


The cold wind blew as I just sat,
and a chill ran up my spine.

The fridged smell said that winter is almost here,
while sitting there thinking, I can feel a leaf brush my cheek.

When I looked up I noticed that the trees were almost bare,
No movement, I just stare.

The snow slowly began to fall,
So I stood up, and didn't stall.

I walked away...

I liked the use of winter as a symbol for , a lost love type thing. This is very good, subtle, and moving.

Yes this little piece is worth reading.

It was the thoughts, of someone observing changing weather.

I thought it was expressive and nice.

I was not sorry that I read the piece, and although the writer

is much younger than I am, the piece was written as I may have..
