How two different scenes can be connected. Think about this. - 11 November 2005

Ghost contact.

Laughter loops the ribbon.

The cause closing

Yet smiles don’t straighten.

Slipping off their shoes,

Crowded in the dining.

Eyes squint with permanent beauty

Drawn by god,

As he joins the dining.

No tears rest on

A families shoulder.

Until,

The balloon pops.

Closer to god

Closer to hell.

The blackbird that stalks,

Waits for the revealing.

So paranoid.

A line of choice – white,

Singed willing heritage.

Roof-tiles split above me,

My peers don’t fit.
