Which way to go? 29th May 2007.

A mute.

Planned to say yes to a devil,
The annex that seems futile.
Hands can seem tempting and gentle;
Pulling strings of my own constitution.
I've heard it all before, my Intuition.

Planned to say no to an angel,
The annex that seems futile.
I want to be lost, and never found,
Fly away with that angel;
So I don't walk these lonely grounds.

I watch time,
Put my life on pause,
and be a mute.

sometimes when nothing seems certain and choices are too complex to make, muteness allows some freedom, some rest in its quiet comfort of just being. Beautifully done John.
