Big Brother Broadcasting

The table has turned
in front of the tv
and somehow goes unnoticed
that it now is watching me
But there's a feeling that I get
as I gaze upon the screen
a flicker of discomfort
in the crack of my beliefs
Devoured by the news
that I'm no longer real
a character of fiction
living in a dream
Regulated by the networks
and their corporate greed
the world beyond their own
will never again be seen

Interesting idea of the TV watching you instead of the other way around. Love 'the crack in my beliefs' line also. We probably all be better off if we turned off the TV and went for a walk in the woods.
