To remembering Kurt. Lead singer of Nirvana. -9th November 2012.

An Ode to Kurt Cobain.

Candle lit for shortened sail,
For words came to him heavy.
The whole world began to pale
For his life was never plenty.
A quiet brooding child
living by rent; never cared,
Invocation and pain compiled
soon to be songs shared.
Escape was unveiled -
Ailment of mind occured.
Lithium tried and failed;
Paranoia becoming stirred.

As tributes tended gravestone,
You swore you didn't have a gun.

Beautiful choice of words to lend your art to this thoughtful text.
My brother was a major fan of Nirvana and through him I grew to appreciate the meaning of Kurt Cobains lyrics. I have not listened to any of the CD's in such a long time now but your words brought his music, and my brother, fresh to mind.

Thank you,

Liam
