Metaphorical $#!T
I know you have a lot of
$#!T weighing you down;
But what if:
You share your $#!T with me,
Let me hold it for a while,
Take the weight off your shoulders;
You’ll feel lighter,
Unburdened by $#!T
And I won’t mind
Just for a little while.
But it’s your $#!T
And eventually
I have to give it back to you;
After all, I have a
$#!T-load of my own.
The thing is this:
Some of your $#!T
May stick to me;
But I won’t mind.
Because it’s your $#!T,
Not mine--
And the $#!T is always greener
On the other side of the sewer line.
