SAT ON A BENTCH (with thanks to I Never Said That work)

The day were grand
Sun shone - it's rays
Worms up the day
I takes out me note book
And pen
Begins so scribble lines
After noting a woman
Sat opposite - across the way
See a woman - reading
Our eyes meet - I quickly look down
I turn the page - start again
Another idea begins to appear
Again I looked up - our eyes meet
She'd looked up from her book
I - look down - back to me scribbling
Both embarrassed
I finished me scribbling - I'd completed
Me shopping list
Got up - went on in too town

A woman who inspires great shopping lists! This was a very amusing read.
