Eighteen

We’ve just walked through

The swinging doors

Of the Adulthood Saloon

But haven’t yet taken

Our seats at the bar.

Wide eyed and fresh

Overflowing with life

Primed for exploration.

What’s next?

Lovely write:)
Made me return to eighteen
Thot then I'd met the love of my life!
I hadn't of course he came along much later in very strange but wonderful circumstances:)
Nice to reminisce but I wouldn't be that age again for anything!
I believe yor piece tho and I feel it:)
Tfs:)
