THE SUN SHINES!

The sun shines - oh so brightly
Hopes worms up the mind
Dears to give expectations
Spring not far of - now
The gloom of winter - lifting
Life looking good - at long last
Smiles - returning - houmous thinking - to
Happy days - ahead - to wake up to

Yep! crocuses will be up soon and the buds with them. Winter is on its last legs. Thanks, Ken for reminding me... there IS light at the end of this long winter tunnel!

Your poetry is just what I needed today, as I shiver, a ray of optimism.

Ithaca, NY has a generally grey and damp climate. When I lived there, I was used to it. But then a sunny day would come and I would find myself inexplicably happy without understanding why until I realized that it was the sunshiny brightness.
