THE VOICE!
While walking down the high streetI could hear mellow tones of a man
Singing
He sang the blues
Not the blues of the delta - New Orleans
Nay
He sang of an England - of times long past
Of the industrial revolution
No need of any instruments - no guitar - no mouthorgan
His only instrument - his voice - oh what a voice
I found my self choking back my tears - my emotions
Oh the power of the human voice!
