Cinderella Floating Down
Cinderella in a yellow bubble floating downThe Ho Chi Minh Trail crying silver tears scrubbing up the rubble,
Fairy Godmother where's my gown or have I grown too high like Sister Alice
To even fairly wear away my frown the hours we've known so gray?
Earthquake towers fell like turncoat seert and ran like leaves in sleeves Oh say
Cinder pass that tinder to mine window by yon sea of way
Up there unclear where the rain falls every day
Clouds of bomb bomb bomb
Loud as plum aplomb catch a carriage coach in livery of violet array
Yellow down floating Cindare willow bubbles in the rubble of your gown . . .
