THE COFFY SHOP!

Last week I went with a good mate - he's a Kiwi - so a mate
Now living in this of small minded town - that is - Ramsgate
I'm starved of feeding my mind - with exchange of ideas - intercourse of minds
So rarely - enjoying the orgasms of the coming together of minds
Talking of books - talking of poetry - yes of talking of mine own
At the coffy shop I - talked and talked - talked yet more and more!
Like a hungry - starving mind - I said more than I should - maybe
Met some of like minded - minds - we talk - lead by me
Talk of Shakespeare - and of great - but little known - woman writers
Such has Aphra Behn - playwright - Margret Cavendish - writer - first SIFI writer
Check out her '' Blazing World '' - 1666!
The Restoration - a purple period - fore woman!
Philosopher - scientist - both would now be leading feminist - eat your hart out
Germain Greer - you don't even close - to Aphra - and - ' Mad ' Marge!
It were time well spent at the coffy shop - Addington Street - Ramsgate !

I've never heard of these women before just now, but I'm so happy they did what they did. I'm really happy you talked and talked about it. I'm happier still that you wrote of it all! I enjoy the stories and the lessons. The story has to be told by you because, anyone else, just wouldn't do it justice! 😊
