When Light Was

If anyone ever suspects a single tear fell when light was violet blue and green
When the world and skies were young and high a simple sigh escaping
Out yonder through the arabesque basket branches draping interwoven wonders wept
Mysterious memories kept returning, climbing, the motions slowly pantomiming slept inside some silver shells of years set sail for today they rose and sank in all their various revolving gravitational aspects I fear
(who was there to tell, who was where to thank)
A single tear fell, if anyone ever suspects,
When light was violet blue and green . . . full . . .
