Thank you for being you.
The birds fell silent
The flowers bowed their heads
The stars that had shone for an eternity
Turned towards the face of death
The air was still
Nothing moved
Except the beat of a fragile heart
The ground shuddered beneath my feet
As I stumbled into the dark
And when all was lost
I heard a voice
As gentle as the summer breeze
And there you were
Across the void
Reaching out to me
You touched my soul
With tender words
A caring loving heart
Pierced the storm
Stayed my course
Lifted me from my knees
10 years have passed since that day
Every year I owe to you
The stars are shining once again
The birds are singing
And the flowers bloom.
Je t'aime mon amour.
