You Do Something To Me

He knew the voodoo that she do so well
The way she write and walk, her mouth that talk the talk
With every letter that she used to spell
A stolen name, he has another
Inside the frame, she is his lover,
Writing a sentence, it is for life you bet
A slight repentance for what one must forget,
To be in love with a woman living in a place hot as HELL
OH where has here went when the go has up and gone
He wants to repent, just over the telephone
Cell like an electric box lined with velvet wires
Attached to junkyard cars and the stars imagined in her eyes
In a universe roughly parallel
He knew the voodoo that she do so well~
