The tall evergreens pining 'gainst skies So Blue as Kingdom COme
Some words, some songs were sweet as stories in a picture book
Will I ever forget how you shook your head, your hair or why
You made me feel the way I feel the warm moment of your eyes
The way we fell in love at the drop of a sigh when Summer's high
Palace of Dreams flew in slow motion through our hearts to fly
With you in spite of everything trite that tends to turn the screw
Somehow when you sang what must be sung the bells are rung and rang~
Summoning my soul to dance with yours over the yawning spaces
In our faces,
The distant near would sometimes disappear into another morning
To awake without you nestled in warm shoulder hollows your sweet hair rustling, murmuring, 'hold me, kiss me love' upon the pillows~

Blue Melody
Will we ever forget the passing days the rivers twiningThe tall evergreens pining 'gainst skies So Blue as Kingdom COme
Some words, some songs were sweet as stories in a picture book
Will I ever forget how you shook your head, your hair or why
You made me feel the way I feel the warm moment of your eyes
The way we fell in love at the drop of a sigh when Summer's high

With you in spite of everything trite that tends to turn the screw
Somehow when you sang what must be sung the bells are rung and rang~
Summoning my soul to dance with yours over the yawning spaces
