EACH NIGHT (WITH THANKS TO THOMAS DeFRITAS)

At the end of the day
Night time takes over
No more distractions
Time to review the day
Time to think
What went right
That that went wrong
Those you met - talked with
Did you both listen - to each other
What did you converse - share
Was the day worth while
Did the day give and take
If so just what - of equal value
Think of what you learned from the day
Passed on to those you met during the day
Wondering what the coming day has in store
Tossing and turning - till sleep and dreams take over

sweet... to think back on the day like that, I do that sometimes and I'm left with a smile on the good (despite the less positive parts of the day) ... your words here leave me with the same sort of feeling I get then :) *hugs* xx

Thank you, Ken! It's always gladdening when a poem I've written inspires someone else to creativity. It has happened a few times--and it is always a joy. Thanks again!
