KIND OF SAD THE ENGLISH AND FRENCH THING! (a work in progres)

Kind of sad the English and French dont get on
though only separated by a very few miles , km's
of sea
they just don't get on at all , Duke William of Normandy
laid claimed to the crown of England
the English king , said ' nope ' , 'it's mine!' , 'so get stuffed!'
' you frog eata!' , William The Barsted , has his own nicknamed , him
well , William , of viking origin , a long , long , story!

Well , he and Harold , argued , had right argy-bargys , across the Chanel
it was not going to end well!
well , William , old Bill, decided , only way was to give Harold , a seeing to
do battle
so old William , gathered his ships , loded them up with men and horses
set sail , for England , to invade , and claim the English crown , for his own!
he and his lot , landed , near Hastings , did battle , against the English-Saxons.
Harold got one in the eye , an arrow , so legend has it
William won the day!

1066 , and all that!

ever since , the English and the French , have not got on!
The English and the French , over the centuries , had far to many wars , famous battles , well known
one war lasted a hundred years! One lasted a mear thirty , years , thats with out
the wars with , Napoleon!
as for the Germans , just the two wars!
England , has gone to war , with much of Europe! , at one time or other , over the years! , not something to be proud of , not me! would take for ever to tell the history!
some how , what is between , the English and the French , kind of tribal!
The French have won more , come top , over all , in records of wars and battles , a little Mademoiselle , her name , Joan , kick the English arce's , right back to Dover!

History can be mysterious, puzzling, but always truthful. It's for us to learn from it, for we are making history every day. I like how you write about it. We must never forget the lessons taught by other's hard won and lost battles.
