FOUR SONS KILLDE (a story-poem for remberance WW1 related)

Father and mother of sons , opened their front door four times
handed a telegram , four times , each time to be
told a son had died , four times , four sons one a year , killed
in the war, one each for each year of the four year of the war
for each son , he was given , a dead mans penny*
four penny's in all , for his four their four sons
each one of the four letters , from the war office
each demanding , recompense , for the four army blankets
used for four shrouds for their four sons , four times

*During World War One , each dead mans family. Were sent a large round plaque, it got callde '' Dead mans penny! ''
In recantation, of the solders , sacrificial. It became known as the dead mans penny. The reader , will see this as nice gesture.
