I'm with the others. Your poetry, as is, is you. If it was edited, it wouldn't entirely be you, and that would be a loss for us.

I'm just happy that you are you and I hope you don't feel any pressure to edit. The beauty of poetry is unique and you certainly are unique, go Ken!

I agree with OTP. I've been reading you for 10 years. What's to edit? I'm here for the art, for the soul, for the poetry. There is movement, feelings, and untouchable things here that cannot and should not be edited. There are many other places for that! If you want to edit it yourself fine. If not, fine. Once it's presented as a gift on Poetbay, I choose to open it and explore it.
Half the time, I leave out words, letters, and get aggravated with punctuation! I just want to rest here on the bay. :)

no. you have a unique voice and your own way of phrasing your thoughts, which are always insightful and genuine, both should be celebrated, not corrected. i've read your poems for so long that your style flows naturally, and it's you, and i wouldn't change a thing.

write on.

i could ask the same thing. should i capitalize? should i use proper punctuation? should i stop writing about an alter ego? we have to be ourselves, or who we feel we are. wish to be.
