THE LOCAL LITERATI!

Now there are members of the local literati
Who are a class ack, I have to say
Now I'm not, classy, in any way at all!
I write, 'cos I love to write, like to perform
But there are those, who have some clout
A minority, true, they have power, to belittle
Undermine, they matter, and don't they know it!
Maybe they have but little, talent, not especially gifted
But, enjoy, shutting down those who do!
