A Glass Knife
A glass knife slides with weightless gravityThrough the air, through your mind your heart and soul
Cutting the pages entangled in your hair,
Every book buried high or deep, within
Some irreligious church of thought control
Of crumbling kingdom's Frankenstein lurch you know
The touch, the searing blast of numb bone cold;
Social surgeries go on opening
Old and freshly cauterized wounds
Jack the rippers
Ruby Slippers abuse the news
You hear
Here
Here?
The meeting dissolves into, disorder
Forget the bordering lines
Spider Einstein embroidery
Universally designs new blinds
Again you pass the day, Night abides
A glass knife slides through-
