No words to describe it
when you thought my family was fair game.
When you knew you were done, but kept messing with my head and trying to convince me it was paranoia
When everything I did became annoying
When war was how we ended our conversations
When the silences became even more extended and uncomfortable
When you fought me mentally for trying to reclaim our happy days
When I saw you give love and happiness to everyone else
When apathy seeped through your actions towards me
When I struggled to not be shut down by your condescension
When I watched you plan your world
When I watched you watch me with no love lost
When you decided to show up at times I was healing not quite sure if you were ready to lose me
So I watched you, and gave you an April fool's ultimatum
I watched you
And i hurt even more
Because your reaction said it all
Yet I couldn't stop watching
I was indeed April's fool.

An April fool's ultimatum
You hurt me;when you thought my family was fair game.
When you knew you were done, but kept messing with my head and trying to convince me it was paranoia
