Bringing The Spring
Thought you were bringing the birds and the SpringWhile I was dreaming of sleeping my life away
With a smile you came sweeping things like sunbeams and Summer
Singing Light, and violet breezes through the Winter Freezes that fell
Mosaic leaves a word which weaves secret wisdom too deep to teach
Thought I could hold you, thought I could reach the wonder in your eyes
Only fell, while I failed to grasp all that you held like some other heaven
Within the world has fallen today there is not much of anything
Left to wish for or for keeping you one more day
Thought you were bringing the birds and the Spring ~
