Knew Not Where
He came from where she knew not whereThe dream was deep the hills were steep the trees climbing
The Summer there was in her hair
Her eyes asleep, he feels her weeping eyes rhyming
For one last time a long lost kind of aching, wanting sighing
Touch she gave a good-bye wave falling away so blue and trying
Like pantomime she read his mind forsaking taking crying
So close to lose with words confuse all the way she flew by flying
The Summer there was in her hair
The dream was deep the hills were steep the trees climbing
He came from where she knew not where *
