Snow Ball Fight

SNOW BALL FIGHT

I look out of my window
And see children running around
As little snow flakes
Drop to the ground

I join as children make their way
To hide from snow-balls splashing them
Whilst thoughts of Christmas bring memories
Of the baby born in Bethlehem

Snow-balls crash
All over the place
As we run
All the time, gathering pace

We all cup our hands
Around some snow
As snow drops land
On a little girl's bow

It is starting to get late
And time for all children to head home,
We long to sit by the hot fire,
And then a cosy bath with lots of foam

Now the sun has set
And no more children can be seen
Darkness is all around
But what a lovely day it has been!
