Raining Shadows
When we spoke in the dark raining shadowsThe words fell between us like indefinable substances of dreams
Was it the currents pulling Light through boats of Time
Dancing rivulets Montagues and Capulets we danced apart
From;
All these things meant so much so someone else we were
Always so unreal, the costumed touch of fabrics felt quite surreal
And yet in the moment somehow met with a cloistering spark
In the dark
When we spoke,
Raining shadows . . .
