THE CANDLE!
The candle is but stub nowAye, still gives off a lit tale light
For how long - not much longer now
In due time the wick in the wax will be burnt out
Just the last of the wick of the candle - will be a smoking memory
The light the candle once gave - a fading memory
In time even that will be forgot!
