Mister Blinkers
She had the angel of a faceWrote her name in red letters using blue, blue ink
In hieroglyphic swirls along Nile tributaries of his scriptural palm
(She said, "Read my meaning Mr. Psalm ?)
It's never what it's supposed to mean anyhow real gone hombre pal
I'm just a gal without a finger in the pie oh me, oh why
So what was I supposed to think ?
Wait a moment and if you're lucky she said, with a wink
"Look out mister, don't blink. "
