Desperate Ends
Only in those moments of timeless desperationWhen the invisible walls move in so many ways
Allowing something through where thoughts break free to play
Moving fast enough to see, still not quite the same as life
Feeling the touch, textures of a hand the heart beneath the skin
Racing slow and sure to a double beat deep felt and pure
Shared breaths over ghostly lines of Autumn rains
The joy of weeping with laughter leaving sorrow to bear
Itself alone for just a page or so it goes on to another track
Skipping quickly to the back the end of a certain situation
Only in those moments of timeless desperation
