SOMETIMES ALL WE HAVE

Sometimes we think we have nothing or so little to give
Yet we give the little we have to those who are in need
Of the little we have
Brassic - penniless - not two coins to jingle in our pocket
Yet just stopping to talk to listen with another
Sharing a smile a joke seeing the funny side of life
Can make a difference diffuse a situation that may look like
Getting out of hand - a quiet word - a smile - a joke
Can be all that is needed
We may have only a little to give - yet that is a gift to give all the same.
