Slow Misting Rain
Maybe tonight you will visit againWhen sleep has fallen like a slow misting rain
Like leaves of singing silver calling
Your name sweet as a river and as deep,
Time hides behind it's own shadow in this place no one may stay forever
Alone beside what never is to see the light of day, if I awaken too soon,
To a memory too sorrowful to repeat, yet there it is
Beating right inside my heart, that is slain
Maybe tonight you will visit again,
Your name sweet as a river and as deep
Like leaves of singing silver calling
When sleep has fallen like a slow misting rain . . .
