AFTER THE WARS HAVE ENDED (An Adishannal Stanzas)
After the wars - the guns go silentSky's quiet no sounds of warplanes flying overhead
The battlefields returning to pastures for food to be planted with in the soil
Enriched by all the blood shed and bones broken splinted into dust - bone-meal
Till then the body's of the slain lay their flesh long since been strip by rats dogs cats
All had their fill
Bones lay bleached white feral dogs feed from those bones seeking marrow
The Dogs are well fed
Thus it has always been so!
But do wars truly end?
Did World War One end?
Did World War Two end?
