THE WIND BLOWS

Door and window frames rattle
Trees outside bend - some break
Come crashing down
Wooden fences can no longer take it
Yet o yet daffodils brave the tempest
As yet no signs of snow!
Break through the sod to grow tall for their size
To bob in the wind
Tulips too will soon appear adding their many colours to the eye
Trees are showing buds of leaves
Not so far from now blossom of - pears - cherries - peaches
Aye spring is in the air!
While the wind blows - optimism stirs in the spirit of my mind!

It is the thought of Spring that carries us through the winter.
An enjoyable read, thanks for sharing.
