equation solving

simplify

isolate variables

do the arithmetic

heed order of operations

ignore wind banging shutter

children's song

mouse in scullery

guttered leaves

bent nails

dutchman's breeches

I haven't anything to add to what the others have said. This just a nice poem.

Feels like instructions on how to let it all go, and just take it easy. The brevity, list style breaks it down to its simplest form and gives it the feeling that it can be done. I like it very much - merci.

What I find interesting is the moment in the poem when the math stops and the poetry rushes in, especially when you present a litany of things to ignore for "equation solving."
