Thees times the worse of times
Yet the best of times will be shown
Bring out the selfishness of some people
Unkindness
Yet also the opposite - the reverse - in - from others
Strange times we are now living in!
Nowt will ever be the same again!

The evolution of the species is a natural progression of life
Our species has evolved into a most selfish creature indeed.
