There many suffering - dying - 'cos - COVID19
Remembered by family - friends - work mates
By there community
A few lines in the local rag - local radio - local TV
Some their names menshand on natanal rags - radio - TV news
Then as the numbers mount up - then just the stats talked about
Nurse's - Doctors - Care workers -dying - who should not be - dying now!
FAR TO many - who have names - just among the mounting statistics - no names
Yet just one now in the news - all night all day - worldwide - dominates - news!
One who could have should have ensured - those stats were fewer than they are
Are and will be bigger - lager - than now
I court an inerview on the radio - interviewe - were one of the experts
WAS he angry postively apperfatick with - SUCH ANGER - almost I recon
Threatening to buerst - sevaral blood vesals during the interview!
AT the polertishans who did NOTHING - when they could have no one of 'em
Now lays on a bed intensive care - hovering between life and death
Some - yes like me see Karmer at work now!
Were in a position to make sure the safety garments were ready and waiting
Plenty of ventilators in reserve - ready just encase
A Think Tank of experts a year or so ago - had met to discus - proberals
Amongst the proberbls - they dicust a proberbl epodemike such as we are suffering From - right now!
Those in power - took a look at the subercant report!
Took only notes of the cost in monatory terms!
Now the stats mounting up and - fucking - UP UP!
My tears are for those now paying the price - the true cost of - CONVID19
Not of a politician - politicians - I shed no tears
For they could of - SAVED - SO MANY life's - now endeding!
