Engines Of Summer
One lost in the engines of summer
Silent roaring sea of souls
Talking to a world of ghosts that walk in waves
Skies were leaking through the sinking trees droning bees
Buzz of time running off old broken rails
Smell of asphalt and fragrant salt highways decays count the days
Follow infant memory back down the spiraling crown of light
Mother of voice Father of Motion without meaning to move
Searching for images to number
One lost in the engines of summer
