A WHOLE NEW NORM (With Thanks To shells Work)
How strange the times are nowHaving to have to get used to
An whole new normal
A year a go even to recently
On meeting some one we'd known
For years
We'd shake hands - over the years
Acceptable to hug irrespective of gender
Nore preference no bigee problem
All the norm back then
Now we're being reconditioned
Into a new normality -that is
Not new as such
No more hugs given and excepted
Let alone shacking hands - no high fives
No touching of knuckles in greeting and parting
In all those ways
Now we are being reconditioned
To fear each other
No more to be close on meeting others
Keeping a safe distance
The new norm - normality - is the rule of our life's
Is FEAR!
