ON LOOKING IN THE MIRROR (Addishans)
On looking in the mirrorI see my dad Dave
I see grand dad Joe
Each of us with a past
In that past we three
Made a difference in our way
We look over our shoulders
In the mirror
The past is reviled - history
What were dune using us
Those who ruled back then
Said claimed it was dun in our name
Back in time THEY The Rulers
Said it were dun in pearants grand parents
Name and reason
Both grand dad Joe, and dad Dave and me
We DID NOT SEE it that way at all!
NOT IN MY NAME WE said
In our time we marched - nailing our coulers to the mast!
We in turn paid the price - do we regret what we did?
Did we fook!
We stood to be counted - even when we stood a lone!
Speaking out just our way - that's what we born and lived to do
Looking back while looking in the mirror of time!
