Fireflies and stars are lighting and lighting the tree-line, above the meadow grass. It is a brilliant display of celestial and earthly light and dark. It is mesmerizing, also difficult to watch. Each flash comes in a new place. Just as your eyes find the source of the flash, another flash appears somewhere else. This is repeated by the hundreds, and your eyes quickly tire and lose focus. Which is good, then you see the big picture: the stars, the flashes, it becomes a dance with the stars above moving in their slow, 24-hour circle, and the magical fireflies below.
