Inspired by the beauty of F.i.n.e Moods and M.A Meddings poetry, i thought i would write something a little more upbeat.


Always


And then i looked into your eyes
and i knew
that you knew me
we walked along the river bank
and your beauty
overthrew me.

So i stopped a while
to drink your smile
and hold your tender hand
we shared a kiss
i found life on your lips
and you took me
to another land.

So it's in these memories
that you live
forever your shadow cast
and i will never forget you
hold you quietly
and safe
always
within my heart.
