Merlin's Telephone
Know I should be glad it's overAlthough wonder if the dream was ever known
The skies are closing down just like windows
The trees are growing shady and overgrown
Ideas pop like living bubbles that a child had blown
Maybe it was the soothing timbre of your voice as I slept inside
Everything that appeared to be was only another way to hide
Away from me, and you kept being there
Just a lovely ghost like voice chanting siren spells on Merlin's telephone
Until a storm blew through the time and poles fell broken lines went dead
We have not spoken in quite a while, someone else sighs to what you say instead
Of me,
Know I should be glad it's over
And over all,
