TALKING TO PASSERS BY
I love to be standing out side my house
Find my self chatting to passers by
It may read rather strange to some
As like we'd known each other all our lives
Just had a chat with a dad and his two children
A boy & a girl - saw they had a dog a puppy
I said ' hallow pooch - explained that pooch ment dog
Her dad said she know what pooch ment - I appolgisecd
That I had ment not to patrernise her, dad said 'she knows what that word ment'
But enspite of all that we all talked!
The girl did most of the chatting talking for her brother
Dad keep asking her to give her brother a chance to get a word in!
Fat chance bless her!
She were smart very sharp has a good mind in her head on her shoulders!
Some how dyslexia came up in the conversation
His son has dyslexia, has most of the tail tail signs
Letters back to front
So of course I said ' I'm dyslexic ' , ' and I write poetry! ' how I grinned!
Brother sister dad - all trying to say something - dad telling his girl
' Give your brother a chance
Doing my best to give each a listen!
Fat chance, grinning me
Even their pooch - their puppy joined in the conversation!
All four of us remaind in good humor - being a bit daft as is my wont
Some how between the five - including the pup we all, we manage to hear & talk
Say what we needed to say
Oh how I love to stand out side chatting - coverings with those passing by
