Time Will Take
It all gets lost, whereNo one may say
Here and there and yesterday
The news is strange and sad so weird
As though the good has disappeared
Where to turn, where safe to stay
Time will take the pain away,
With frames on fire in flames of strange
Madness, chaos raging bitter marches into the dark
Evil parades wearing a political masquerade of good
What a hollow laugh to hear
This mask covering a sneer
The world spins creaking from the weight
Of lost dreams leaking in the night
No solace to be created
All these souls so unrelated
Where to turn, where safe to stay
Time will take the pain away . . .
