Once You Were
Once you were the lost illusionMy never thought to find again
Like light to catch a flame
Looking for something to explain
For company in seclusion
That no wildness could tame
Someone to be seeking out inside a circle drawn
So far within to be wanting what is to be seen
There are others lost beside themselves hidden from dawn
Wearing painful clothes of night not having what has been
That no wildness could tame
For company in seclusion
Looking for something to explain
Like light to catch a flame
My never thought to find again
Once you were the lost illusion
