Stage Craft
Something so obscure behind the cardboard scenes shiftsTurning the spacious skies inside out into an angry purplish tint
Banks of towering clouds appear in the pockets of God like pieces of lint
Lowering lines of time and space into these places preordained
Legislate fines for crime and face recognition and then it rained
Shoals of judgement, condemnation, righteous indignation storms oblique
In spite of all that came before the sacred word, the holy war was it really so unique
Beware what appears to be strangers bearing gifts
Something so obscure behind the cardboard scenes shifts .
